What to Wear to a Semi-Formal Wedding

40 Perfect Fall Wedding Guest Dresses for September, October and November

40 Inexpensive Wedding Guest Dresses for Every Dress Code and Vibe

Our wedding is Cocktail — Garden Party Formal (fall in Agassiz, BC). Expect typically mild weather around 10–15°C; layers are recommended in case of breeze or evening cool-down.What to wear-Women: Dresses or skirts below the knee, or dressy trousers; light layers like a shawl or tailored jacket are encouraged.-Men: Suits or sport jackets with ties; dress trousers and polished shoes.- Footwear: Choose stable shoes suitable for grass (block heels, wedges, or dress flats recommended).Colours & vibe - The wedding party will wear dark purple and dark grey; we love coordinated, refined looks in those tones but please don’t feel obligated to match exactly—complementary neutrals (no white) and muted florals work beautifully.Practical notes -Ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors, reception indoors— bring a light coat or wrap for cooler moments.
